This 1 day adventure takes you to visit East Africa’s adventure capital, Jinja. Accompanied by a professional and experienced crew, you face the ultimate challenge of the mighty river Nile rushing down from grade 3 to 5 grade rapids.
Overcome your fears then when dashing down the rapids and enjoy the beautiful scenary of the Nile when paddling between the 8 rapids. With the professional rafting equipment, safety boats and experienced kayakers, you will be in the best hands, when going on this adventure. On this 1 Day Jinja Rafting Adventure, you will also have sights of some water birds on the shores of the Nile and a taste of the various activities done by the local people during your drive there.
You shall travel in a comfortable safari vehicle driven by a professional English Speaking guide, enjoy yummy meals and meet up with fantastic local people.

Day 1
Journey time i.e .2 hours
Start this day tour as early as possible, departing from Kampala not later than 7.00am. Driving along the Kampala – Jinja road. Along the way, you will pass through lugazi, a place where there are lots of sugarcane plantations, before you head shortly into Mabira, the largest natural forest in Central Uganda that extends several miles along the Kampala – Jinja highway.
On reaching the Nile, you will meet the rafting team and have a briefing session during which you will be given instructions about the rafting activity. The rafting activity takes between 3 to 4 hours. It is altogether thrilling! After rafting, you will have tropical fruits right on the banks of the Nile before transferring bank to Jinja.
Lunch is provided and if there is time, you can choose to either transfer back to Kampala immediately or go for a sunset cruise to the Source of the Nile or go Zip lining in Mabira. These are all optional activities and are not included on the cost.
